“Sunshine” is a handmade original 10” x 8” Acrylic painting on Panel, signed and dated at the back of Acrylic Panel. This painting is inspired by a photograph. I love doors and windows as there is so much history behind them not just in Architecture but also in painting. This painting is about the light shinning through those yellow walls and maroon door. The details that I was drawn to were torn paper on the door and the broken glass of the window behind the railing. The texture, color and  light pulls you toward itself. When I see it I see layers over layers unfolding. Embracing natural cycle of growth, decay and death.
