This painting is inspired by a photograph. I love doors and windows as there is so much history behind them not just in Architecture but also in painting. This door is like a passage toward the outer world. The texture, color and  light pulls you toward itself. When I see it I see layers over layers unfolding. Embracing natural cycle of growth, decay and death.
